Small Businesses with Big Hearts
Lemonjello’s Coffee participated in The Big Give on behalf of ACTS. During The Big Give businesses all over downtown Holland donated 15% of all sales for the day to a wide variety of non-profits in this community. We are so grateful for the various ways Lemonjello’s and owner Matt Scott have partnered with ACTS for a number of years. These donations will go far in helping us serve our growing ACTS family! It warmed our hearts to spend time with a number of our supporters and get a little extra time with ACTS kids as they stopped by the coffee shop. We also had the privilege of seeing new faces and spreading the word about ACTS to those who might not have heard about us yet.
Another area business that has supported ACTS since the early years is Embolden Photography Studio. We are blown away by their unique way of supporting us every year through Share the Love. At this event owner Christy holds two days of mini photography sessions for nearly 200 kids. Instead of paying a normal fee, families are asked to bring gifts or gift cards that support the work that we do everyday.
